Delicious morning tea, included. Internationally famous COLWYN TREVARTHEN presents his exciting and ground-breaking paper. He is Professor (Emeritus) of Child Psychology and Psychobiology at The University of Edinburgh. He has published over 200 articles and chapters on brain development, infant communication and child learning and emotional health. He has an Honorary Doctorate in Psychology from the University of Crete, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, a Member of the Norwegian Academy of Sciences and Letters and a Vice-President of the British Association for Early Childhood Education.  RUSSELL MEARES is Emeritus Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Sydney, and Academic Head of Western Sydney Area Mental Health Services. He has researched, lectured and published widely on the Conversational Model of psychotherapy. Trevarthen’s findings have directly informed Meares’ own work.
