CONVERSATIONS ON DREAMING: THERAPEUTIC VISIONS ON SLEEP, SESSIONS AND THE PSYCHE Date: 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th September 2010 Venues 2nd and 3rd: Workshops at the Museum of NSW - College Street, Sydney. 4th and 5th: Conference at The State Library of NSW. “Think of how puzzling a dream is. It is as if there were a riddle here….the contemplation of the dream-image inspires us…affects us as does an idea pregnant with possible developments.” Wittgenstein. 2011 sees ANZAP as a major sponsor for the World Psychotherapy Conference in Sydney: “World Dreaming”. This landmark conference will set the scene for multiple conversations on state-of –the-art Psychotherapy in differing cultural and theoretical styles, with scientifi c, research and philosophical considerations. ANZAP’s 2010 conference aims to prepare ourselves, and the Australian Psychotherapeutic community for such a prestigious event, inviting papers which address the complex questions arising from a consideration of the dream.
