Brian is a consultant psychiatrist in private practice at St Leonard's and has been specialising in psychotherapy for over twenty years.

He has advanced qualifications in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and experience in helping patients resolve childhood and other trauma or other underlying problems which manifest later in adult life. Depression, anxiety and panic, addiction, eating disorders etc

Brian had worked as director of psychiatry at South Pacific Private therapy hospital for over 16years where he gained much experience in understanding and treating family of of origin trauma, abuse and addiction in particular
as well as the broad range of other general problems.

Brian is also trained in Buddhist influenced psychotherapy and has been the president of the Australian Association of Buddhist Counsellors and Psychotherapist and a lecturer, faculty member and supervisor on its training course for therapists.
